How many guests can join a charter?
Every Six Again charter is private, with no mixed groups. River & Estuary, Daintree & Murray, and Barron River & Trinity Inlet take up to three guests, with a third guest at an extra $300. Lake Tinaroo is capped at two guests, with no third-guest option.
Is the price per guest or per charter?
Each advertised price covers the whole charter for two guests. It is never charged per person. Where available, a third guest can join for a separate $300 fee.
How does the enquiry process work?
Submitting the enquiry form sends your preferred dates and details directly to Josh. It is an enquiry, not an automatic booking confirmation. Josh will respond to confirm availability and next steps.
Is a deposit required?
Josh will ask for a deposit to secure your booking. If you'd prefer, you're also welcome to pay the full charter price upfront.
What is the cancellation policy?
If a charter is cancelled by the guest with less than 5 days' notice before the charter date, the deposit is forfeited. If Josh needs to cancel or reschedule for any reason, you'll receive a full refund or an agreed alternative date.
Which charter is best for beginners?
Guidance on which charter suits beginners is pending Josh's input.
What fishing equipment is included?
All fishing gear is provided, along with lunch and water. Guests are more than welcome to bring their own equipment if it suits the style of fishing on the day.
What should guests bring?
A hat, sunglasses, a long-sleeve shirt if needed, and a rain jacket if the weather calls for it.
What happens if the weather is unsuitable?
If Josh needs to cancel or reschedule due to weather or any other reason, you'll receive a full refund or an agreed alternative date.
Can children join?

Where do charters depart from?
Josh is based in Cairns. The exact departure point and time is confirmed with Josh once your booking has been made.
Is fishing experience required?
No experience is needed. Josh will do his best to teach and guide you on the day.
Are catches guaranteed?
No, fishing outcomes can never be guaranteed. Six Again focuses on giving guests the best possible private charter experience on the day.
How quickly will Josh respond to my enquiry?
Josh personally reviews every enquiry and aims to respond within 1–2 business days.
